Rental Requirements
What you need to reserve and drive a RoluxCars vehicle. Requirements can vary by vehicle and duration; our concierge team confirms the specifics before approving a reservation.
Driver identification
- A valid government-issued photo ID for the primary driver.
- The driver named on the rental agreement must be the person collecting and operating the vehicle.
Driver's licence
- A valid full driver's licence. In British Columbia this is a Class 5 licence.
- Learner (L) and Novice (N) licences do not qualify.
- Visitors may drive on a valid licence from their home country; an International Driving Permit is recommended if it is not in English or French.
Age requirements
- Minimum age 25 for most of the fleet.
- Select higher-value exotics require drivers to be 30 or older. The minimum is listed on each vehicle page.
Payment card and deposit
- A major credit card in the renter's name is required for the security deposit. Debit, prepaid, and cash are not accepted for the deposit.
- A refundable security deposit of $3,000–$12,000 is held on the card and released after the vehicle is returned in its original condition. Higher-value exotics may carry a larger hold.
Insurance
- Insurance is coordinated on every rental. British Columbia uses ICBC base coverage, with additional protection layered on top.
- An optional Loss Damage Waiver caps your responsibility at the deductible ($3,000–$12,000). Personal or credit-card policies may exclude high-value vehicles, so confirm with your concierge.
Additional drivers
- Additional drivers must meet the same age and licence requirements and be approved and named on the agreement before they drive.
Mileage
- Included mileage and daily rates are برای قیمتهای روز با ما تماس بگیرید. Additional distance is برای قیمتهای روز با ما تماس بگیرید. Mileage packages are available for longer trips.
Geographic restrictions
- Travel within British Columbia, including Whistler and the Sea-to-Sky corridor, is permitted.
- Cross-border travel into the United States requires prior written approval and is not permitted without authorization.
Vehicle-specific qualifications
- Some vehicles carry a higher minimum age, larger deposit, or additional conditions. Any vehicle-specific requirements are confirmed by our team before a reservation is approved.
